The Sixteen Realms of Chikara

Each of our lives is a tapestry of emotional and spiritual moments. Collectively, these events change us as our lives unfold - the birth of a child, a graduation, a loss, the reunion of good friends...experiences that become unforgettable memories.

Jennifer Kunin began sketching the figures that would eventually become the sixteen realms of Chikara after a near death accident. Walking along a dirt path in Mexico, she and her friend, Julie, were hit from behind by a drunk driver. Julie did not survive and Jennifer was airlifted home with a broken vertebrae, a concussion and multiple injuries. Though tragic, Jennifer views this life-altering experience with gratitude, giving deeper meaning and quality to her spiritual existance.
